For example Woolf Willie Assenheim who married Leah Worms on 14th August 1916 is listed in the occupation column of the register as \u2018Private A.S.C\u2019 (Fish Curer). There are also several munitions workers and inspectors listed, who presumably would have had a different occupation prior to and after the war.\u00a0In this register we start to see many women taking on previously male dominated occupations such as cigar workers, cigarette packers, tailors and machinists.
