SRS 27: Marriage Register 1905 – 1909<\/h2>\n

This marriage register covers the period from 1905 – 1909. The majority of the women getting married during that period were not working although some were working in the cigar and tailoring trades. Most of the grooms and the father\u2019 of the grooms were working locally, predominately in the cigar, tailoring and boot making trades. The average age of women marrying during this time is 22 years. Most people marrying at Sandys Row during this time lived locally.<\/p>\n
